Kount 360 Account Protection has an integrated secure multifactor authentication for Login Abuse so that customers can reduce their integration effort and have an all-in-one location for login security.
The Admin section is viewable when Kount has activated multifactor authentication (MFA) for your account. On this page, you have the option to turn SMS and email MFA on or off globally. If either setting is not selected, MFA will not be sent for that type. This is true even if the customer has configured MFA within individual segments. If both email and SMS are checked, the MFA is sent to the email unless the email is invalid or not available.
To turn on global MFA:
-
Sign in to Kount 360.
-
Select Admin.
-
Select Product Configuration.
-
Select one or more Global MFA options: SMS or Email.
-
Turn on Auto Trust Device, if applicable. When turned on, the device is automatically trusted when the end user has a successful MFA challenge.
-
Select Save.
You can turn multifactor authentication (MFA) on for individual segments.
The Secure Multifactor Authentication Status API is used by the customer to get the status of the multifactor authentication sent to the end user.
Refer to the API Secure MFA page for help documentation specific to the API.
