Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that lets you authenticate to multiple applications or websites by using a single set of credentials. Kount 360 offers Service Provider Initiated SSO for customers using the Kount 360 portal. Service Provider Initiated SSO is when you sign in to an application directly and are redirected through the SSO flow.
Kount 360 SSO support is created by using the SAML and OIDC standards. An Identity Provider Platform can send a SAML assertion or an OIDC ID token. Once you have authenticated in to the Kount 360 portal, your authorization is managed by the permissions granted to you in User Management.
For more information about single sign-on app integrations, go to OIDC app integrations and SAML app integrations.
After completing a single sign-on integration, follow these steps:
-
Navigate to Kount 360 — the service provider — and enter your email address.
-
Based on your organization’s domain and configuration, Kount 360 sends you a request from the identity provider for authentication.
-
You are prompted to sign in to your identity provider.
-
After successfully entering your credentials, you are redirected to Kount 360.
Kount 360 gives you the option to configure Single Sign-On (SSO) as Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) or OpenID Connect (OIDC) for your organization. You must configure your SSO settings after confirming your organization domain. For security purposes, this domain cannot be edited by users.
To enable and configure SSO for your organization, perform the following steps:
-
Sign in to Kount 360.
-
Select Admin.
-
Select Product Configuration.
-
Select SSO.
-
Turn on SSO. After turning on SSO, Kount detects and displays your domain.
-
Select Confirm if the detected domain matches the email domain for your organization. If you require SSO for a different organization domain, contact the Kount 360 support team.
-
Select an SSO configuration type: SAML or OIDC.
-
If you select SAML, contact your customer success representative to enable SAML SSO.
-
If you select OIDC, fill out the required fields for General Settings, Client Details, Endpoints, and Authentication Settings. Select Save after filling out the required fields.
