Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that lets you authenticate to multiple applications or websites by using a single set of credentials. Kount 360 offers Service Provider Initiated SSO for customers using the Kount 360 portal. Service Provider Initiated SSO is when you sign in to an application directly and are redirected through the SSO flow.
Kount 360 SSO support is created by using the SAML and OIDC standards. An Identity Provider Platform can send a SAML assertion or an OIDC ID token. Once you have authenticated in to the Kount 360 portal, your authorization is managed by the permissions granted to you in User Management.
The single sign-on workflow is as follows:
-
Navigate to Kount 360 (the service provider) and enter your email address.
-
Based on your organization’s domain and configuration, Kount 360 sends you a request to the identity provider for authentication.
-
You are prompted to sign in to your identity provider.
-
After successfully entering your credentials, the you are redirected to Kount 360.
