Gadgets are interactive, graphical displays that can be added to any dashboard to enable a customized, at-a-glance snapshot of real-time decisioning data and order status. Users may add and remove gadgets, changing the default view to display only data that they find relevant. Use dynamic gadget features, display or hide information, and filter available gadgets employing built-in, intuitive keyword functionality.
Add, Move, and Remove Gadgets
Customizable dashboard functionality accommodates different views for different users, eliminating the need to view data that is not essential for user-specific, day-to-day data analysis.
- To add a gadget from the available gadgets in the left navigation, click add now on the desired gadget.
- To move a gadget, hover over the gadget’s title banner, click the blue square, and then select Rearrange Gadget. Use the navigation buttons to move the gadget around the dashboard, and then click off the gadget to fix it in place.
- To remove a gadget from the dashboard, hover over the gadget’s title banner, and then click the blue square. Select Remove Gadget.
- To adjust the information displayed within a gadget, click the ellipsis (...) in the upper-right of the gadget, where available, and then select from or review available display options.
Messages and Merchant News are default gadgets that display on all dashboards. These gadgets can be removed and then reinstated at any time by clicking the use default gadgets link at the bottom of the Dashboard Gadgets list.
Search Gadgets using Keywords
Using smart auto-filter functionality, gadgets are automatically filtered when users type search words into the keywords search box under the Dashboard Gadgets heading. Searching in this manner displays only relevant gadgets that are not already on the Dashboard.
Tip: When searching, check the “show all” checkbox in the gadget menu to display all gadgets, including those already on the Dashboard.
