For address check responses, Ekata considers the inputs Primary Address and Primary Name (or Primary First Name and Primary Last Name) and Secondary Address and Secondary Name (or Secondary First Name and Secondary Last Name).
Error: An error message for an address check can return the following responses:
- Null – No information returned
- Partial Error – Could not retrieve entire response
- International Address Disabled – Address is international and international address checks are turned off in your API key
Warnings: A warning message returns the following:
- Invalid Input
- Invalid Country Code
- Missing Unit/Apt/Suite Number
- Invalid Unit/Apt/Suite Number
- Not Found
- Empty Array
Is Valid: This indicates if the address is a valid address:
- True
- False
- Null
Phone to Name: A verification result whether the subscriber name for the phone matches the input name:
- Match – Positive indicator
- No Match – Increased risk, compare to other indicators before weighting.
- No Name Found
- Null
- Validated
- Validated only Street, Postcode, City, Country. Premise not validated
- Validated only Postcode, City, Country
- Validated only City, Country
- Validated only Country
- Added – A valid response not often seen but possible.
- Building, PO Box or Company exists. Premise number incorrect or not validated – A valid response not often seen but possible.
- Could not recognize address – A valid response not often seen but possible.
- Premise empty – A valid response not often seen but possible.
- Some corrections made – A valid response not often seen but possible.
Is Active: This indicates if the address is currently receiving mail:
- True
- False – This indicates an increased risk that USPS cannot deliver to this address or it is not currently receiving mail. Examine other indicators to weigh the level of risk.
- Null
Address to Name: A verification result whether the resident name for the phone matches the input name:
- Match – Positive indicator
- No Match – Increased risk, compare to other indicators before weighting.
- No Name Found
- Null
Resident Name: Returns the name of the resident of the input address.
Is Resident Desceased: Indicates if the subscriber of the phone is desceased:
- True – Increased risk, compared to other indicators.
- False
Is Commercial: Indicates if the address is registered to a business:
- True
- False
- Null
Type: The delivery point for the address:
- Commercial mail drop – Indicates increased risk.
- Multi unit
- Single unit
- PO Box – Indicates increased risk.
- PO Box Throwback – Indicates increased risk.
