When you have successfully passed several orders to the Kount Test environment, your Solutions Engineer will request certification to move to the Kount Production environment, so you can start seeing live orders from your website displayed in Kount.
You will need to meet the following three criteria before Kount can certify you to go live in the Kount Production environment:
- All of the minimum required fields are being passed to Kount. See the Appendix regarding RIS Required Inquiry Keys in the Technical Specification Guide for a list of the minimum required fields you’ll need to pass to Kount with each order.
- The device data collector is working.
- There are no hard errors in the Kount database. See the Appendix regarding RIS Warning and Error Codes in the Technical Specification Guide for a list of warning and error codes that, if received, would need to be fixed before you can be certified.
NOTE: Kount does not provide Quality Assurance support. All QA testing must be done by the merchant.
When you have met the criteria above, contact your Solutions Engineer or Customer Success Manager to request the review for Certification to Production.
Note: Customers using the Kount Direct fraud tools through Braintree do not have to request certification before moving to the Production environment.
