Comparisons between the shipping and billing address have been updated to exclude the name from the Address Details and only evaluate address properties provided from the API for matching. This allows addresses to match even when the names do not match.
Before this update, the Billing Shipping Address Match condition was not operating as expected. Shipping and billing addresses that matched were being flagged as mismatched when:
-
Leading or trailing spaces existed in the name for either address.
-
The name did not match or was left blank between either address.
