Kount’s Data on Demand (DoD) enhances a company’s customer knowledge with thousands of additional data points from Kount’s Identity Trust Global Network. The data can be analyzed on its own or combined with additional company-collected data for deep analytics on one platform.
DoD has two options for accessing data: a Kount-created Reader account or by using Snowflake.
Accessing Data with a Reader Account
To access DoD with a Reader account:
- Contact your Customer Success Manager and ask for a Reader account. Reader accounts are created by Kount and include a username and password.
- Log into your Reader account with your Kount-provided URL and credentials using the URl provided by Kount during the onboarding process.
Note: When you log in for the first time, a change your password prompt displays. - Fill out the prompt to create and submit a new password.
- Once logged in, 12 database views are available depending on the Kount products in which you are subscribed.
Note: Aftering logging in and creating a new password, you can create additional new users. Refer to Frequently Asked Questions for information on how to create a new user.
Accessing Data with Snowflake
If a customer also uses Snowflake, they have the option to access DoD directly through their Snowflake instance.
To set up access, provide the following information about your Snowflake instance to your Customer Success Manager:
Snowflake Account Name: John_Customer
Edition: Standard, Enterprise, or Business Critical (refer to Snowflake Editions for more information)
Cloud Platform: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
Snowflake Region: Refer to Snowflake Regions
Kount grants user access and replicates the data to the correct cloud platform and region, the DoD views appear as an extension of the customer Snowflake instance.
