An announcement for our sub-merchants
Thank you for using [Partner Name Here] as your payment fraud technology partner. We value your business and are thrilled to work with merchants such as yours. Equifax Kount is one of our fraud management strategic partners and is undergoing a global cloud transformation to modernize applications, introduce expanded security, and maximize the value of data for you.
Kount Command, an Equifax platform, is reaching its end-of-life in late 2025, requiring a transition to Payments Fraud on Kount® 360.
Your migration window for Kount® 360 is scheduled for October 6 - November 14. You can cutover anytime during this window.
What’s next
To streamline the process, we will migrate all of your lists, User Defined Fields (UDFs), rules, and 18 months of your historical transaction data.
On your end, it’s time to begin updating your connectivity to avoid a service disruption.
- Start now by checking the Kount Support site and following the steps in the relevant guide:
- TPA connections
- SDK connections
- For API connections, review the Payments Fraud API Integration Guide, the API comparison article, and additional API documentation in the Kount Developer Portal.
- Watch for the Kount 360 platform invitation email (from sender: noreply@mfa.kount.com) to access the sandbox environment for integration testing beginning August 14, 2025.
- Discontinue making rule and list changes in the legacy Kount Command platform as of September 26, 2025.
- Watch for a second Kount 360 platform invitation email beginning September 29, 2025 (from sender: noreply@mfa.kount.com) and then activate your account in the production environment.
- Review how your legacy rules mapped to Kount 360 (see Policy Management and check this article for how to adjust them).
- Publish your policy changes in Kount 360.
- Implement the new integration to connect to the Kount 360 platform between October 6 - November 14, 2025.
Please Note: Rule and list changes entered in Kount Command between September 26 - November 14 will need to be manually updated in Kount 360.
