See how common tasks are completed when you migrate to Payments Fraud as compared to Command. For example, creating lists, marking a chargeback, and actioning a case.
Marking a chargeback is a feature shared by both Command and Payments Fraud, but Payments Fraud provides more functionality.
Command
Chargeback information displays in the Agent Web Console on the Transaction Details page in the Payment Gadget. You can add or edit a chargeback by using the Add refund or chargeback or Update Chargeback links in the gadget.
Payments Fraud
Chargeback information displays in Payments Fraud in a transaction's Event Details. You can find the Event Details by going to the Case Queue in Case Management and selecting a case. You can add or edit a chargeback by selecting Chargeback, then selecting a chargeback status.
The chargeback status displays in the Reversals Information tile.
The process to review a case is similar in both Command and Payments Fraud.
Command
In Command, you would go to the Suspect Orders queue, select a case, and decision the case by using the options at the bottom of the page.
Payments Fraud
In Payments Fraud, go to the Case Queue in Case Management, then select a case. In the Decision section of Case Details, you can approve or decline the case .
Compare the functionality of Command VIP lists to Kount 360 lists.
Both lists are meant to manage transactions with automated actions such as approving, declining, or reviewing by using rules or policies. Hierarchy applies in both systems. In Command, if one item is on the Approve list and one is on the Decline list and both rules fire, the item will be approved. In Payments Fraud, segments define the hierarchy, and Decline trumps Review in each segment.
Lists in Command are known as VIP lists. VIP lists have the following functions:
-
Data points:
-
Email
-
Email domains (must be a subset of the email list and still have an exact match)
-
Payment Token (PTOK)
-
Device ID/Device Fingerprint
-
Billing and shipping addresses
-
User-Defined Fields (UDF)
-
-
Up to three different lists per data point type (Approve, Review, Decline)
-
Not all data points are eligible for Approve lists
-
-
Exact match for searches
VIP lists are found in the Agent Web Console in Fraud Control > VIP Lists. The following image shows an example of a VIP email list.
