How to stop fulfillment, which does not happen automatically, when dispositioning via Ethoca.
Typically, when an Agent user is manually reviewing a suspect order using the order's Transaction Details page, that Agent examines a number of different data elements contained in the gadgets on that page. This process can take several minutes or longer, and is often necessary in order to confidently disposition an order as Approve or Decline.
However, if you are using the Ethoca Dashboard third-party integration, the review process is accelerated for Matched Orders. Once an Ethoca Alert is Matched with a Suspect Order in Kount, it is considered confirmed fraud and can confidently be dispositioned as Decline.
It's important to know that dispositioning such an order does nothing to the alert. The customer still needs to take action to attempt to stop delivery of the purchased item, either by not shipping a physical good in the first place or, if it shipped, contacting the carrier and having the item redirected.
