Rejection codes are used when an agent or an update API closes a case that is in Review or Challenge. When sending an Update API with rejection codes, they are validated against the Rejection Code not the Rejection Code Name.
To create a rejection code:
-
Log in to Kount 360.
-
Select Admin, then Product Configuration.
-
Select Identity Proofing, then Rejection Codes.
-
Select Create Code.
The new rejection code displays at the top of the list.
Note
If you leave the page before completing and saving the new rejection code, your changes will be lost and you must start over.
-
In Color, open the menu, select a color for the rejection code.
-
In Rejection Code, create and enter an alphanumeric code. This code is used when the Update API is invoked and a rejection code is included in the API.
Note
The rejection code cannot be edited after creation.
-
In Rejection Code Name, enter a name for the rejection code.
Note
The name you enter in this text field is what displays in the rejection codes selection menu in Case Details.
-
Select Save.
You can sort the rejection codes by dragging and dropping them. The sort order is the order rejection codes will display in the selection menus when a fraud agent wants to choose a rejection code.
