Kount 360 integrates with Ekata, a global identity verification data service provider. The Ekata Identity Engine™ powers the Ekata API that provides additional data points in the Queue Manager. The Ekata Identity Engine validates Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and analyzes how it behaves in digital interactions.
Once enabled, you can use the data collected by Ekata to manually review or auto-decision orders in the Queue Manager. The Ekata service validates the following key data points:
-
Email address
-
Phone number
-
IP address
-
Physical address
To enable Ekata in Queue Manager:
-
Sign in to Kount 360.
-
Select Case Management, and then select Queue Manager.
-
Select Ekata Service.
-
Select Ekata Service Enabled.
Caution
Ekata is a billable service. If no conditions are configured when Ekata is enabled, the Ekata service is called for all orders that are held for manual review.
-
Select Add Condition, and then select a condition to evaluate when Ekata is called for orders in Queue Manager.
Example
In the AI conditions group, select Omniscore, then select is less than as the operator. In the text field, enter 45. After saving your changes, Ekata will only be called if the order has an Omniscore of less than 45.
-
Select Confirm.
-
Select the operator and add a value to the condition.
Note
Each condition requires a different selection or data input depending on the use case.
-
Optional: Repeat steps 5-7 to add multiple conditions.
-
Select Save Changes.
With the Ekata Service enabled, orders that evaluate as true for the configured conditions call Ekata. The data supplied by Ekata can then be used in Triggers to auto-decision orders or inform fraud agents when performing a manual review in Case Queue.
