When configuring IP address range whitelists, you need to know your company's IP network address and subnet mask. If you only want to configure part of your network in the whitelist range, you need to know the specific subnet mask value.
Note
IPv6 addressing is not currently supported. IPv6 addresses are converted to a static IPv4 address within RIS (10.0.0.1).
To configure your IP Address:
-
Select Admin, then select IP and Region Login Whitelist.
-
Select Add IP Range to Whitelist.
-
In the Add IP Range to Whitelist box, enter your company's network IP address, add the desired Subnet Mask, then enter a description.
-
Select Save Entry.
The IP Whitelist page displays the lower and upper boundaries of your network address range.
-
Select Enable to activate the whitelist.
Note
The values used here are only an example. Do not use them in your production environment.
