The IP and Region Login Whitelist is available as an optional feature for enhanced security in the Agent Web Console (AWC). The feature must be enabled by a Customer Success Manager, then configured by a user with Admin permissions in the AWC.
The feature is accessed in the AWC under the Admin menu. It is used to control logins to the AWC based on the User's Device IP Address, the IP Address Range, or the IP Geographic Country from which the user is logging in.
If this feature is enabled, additional functionality becomes available under the Reports menu, which tracks IP Whitelist Logins.
In the AWC, there are two methods of tracking IP Whitelist Login information. Both methods are on the Reports menu.
The first method is the Restricted Login History Filter. This feature lets you compile a list of IP Whitelist login attempts, either all of them or by specific type.
-
Select Reports, Security Audits, then User Restricted Logins.
-
Use the Restriction Types menu to select either All Restrictions, IP, Range, or Country.
-
Select a Start Date and End Date for the history filter, then select Get Restricted Login History.
The history displays in the table.
The second method is the Whitelist Settings Changes. This feature lets you create an audit report of all of the configuration changes to your whitelists.
-
Select Reports, Security Audits, then Whitelist Settings Changes.
-
Select an audit type, such as IP Address Whitelist or IP Block Whitelist.
-
Create a date range and then select Create Audit Report.
The audit report data displays in the table.
