Chargeback Management in Kount 360 provides essential tools for managing fraud strategies. You can export transaction data and alerts for online review or offline action, and access detailed reports to gain insights into inquiries, deflections, and chargebacks.
Use Reports to access detailed historical and aggregate information on your dispute and chargeback activity. This section displays tables and charts that help you analyze performance over time. Reporting provides information about inquiries, deflections, alerts, notifications, chargebacks, and fraud. The table and various charts can be viewed with custom dates and ranges. Charts can also be sorted and compared using Descriptor, CAID, and Brand.
To view Chargeback Management reports:

Sign in to Kount 360.

Select Analytics

Expand the reports folder
, then Chargeback Management.

You can export a snapshot of any active queue, such as Inquiries, Deflections, or Chargebacks, to review or archive transaction data displayed in your current view.
To export current queue data:

Sign in to Kount 360.
-
Select Chargeback Management, then any of the alert queues.
Note
Verifi and Ethoca alerts are located in Case Management > Alerts.

Select Export.

Select .csv or .xlsx to download the file.
Note
Active filters are applied to the exported data. To export a complete, unfiltered data set, you must clear all filters before exporting.
The Alerts queue allows you to export pending Ethoca and Verifi CDRN alerts. This is necessary when you need to perform actions on multiple alerts simultaneously before uploading the results back into the queue for processing.
Note
The export function does not download resolved alerts.
To export alerts for offline processing:

Sign in to Kount 360.

Select Case Management, then Alerts.

Select Export.

Select Ethoca Alerts or Verifi Alerts to download the alerts file to your local drive.

Open the saved .xlsx file. Depending on the alert type you exported, different action columns display in the spreadsheet.

Use the menus in the action columns to select the applicable outcomes for each alert. Downloaded alerts are indicated by the Processing status.

Once you have selected an action for each alert, save the file.

Upload the .xlsx file to the Alerts queue. Refer to Upload Ethoca or Verifi Alerts after offline processing.
Note
The file name must be identical to the one you exported.
The Alerts queue allows you to export pending Ethoca and Verifi alerts. After editing the file offline, you can upload it back to the Alerts table.

The upload file name must be identical to the original downloaded file.
To upload a file to the Alerts queue:

Sign in to Kount 360.

Select Case Management, then Alerts.

Select Upload.
The file explorer opens on your computer.

Select the file for upload.
The queue refreshes, and the processed alerts display the appropriate status. Any alerts that fail to process display an error message and remain in the Processing status.
