Currently, we only support Latin character sets, including diacritics. For example, Pelé@example.com.
The following are not supported at this time:
-
Unicode characters
-
Greek alphabet
-
Traditional Chinese characters
-
Japanese characters
-
Cyrillic characters
In Asian markets, we currently support 2-byte characters only — Asian languages are typically 3-byte. If an unsupported character is passed to is, it displays as an inverted question mark (¿) within the AWC.
Refer to How to Flag Orders that use Greek, Chinese, or Other Character Sets.
